Anti-bribery Management System (ISO 37001)

ISO 37001, the first international standard for the prevention of bribery, is the guideline for establishing anti-bribery management systems implemented by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). This standard was originally announced in October 2016 and then first introduced in Korea in April 2017.

Project details

1. Organizational diagnosis
– Step-by-step business process analysis
– Analysis of the organization and its stakeholders according to the business process
– Detection of possible corruption issues both in and outside of the KOFPI
– Determination of the application range of the anti-corruption management system
– Discussion of issues related to corruption, and provision of training on the anti-corruption management system

2. Evaluation of corruption risk
– Planning and implementation of surveys
– Identification of response activities against detected corruption issues
– Evaluation of response level on corruption issues
– Analysis of the results of corruption risk assessments and response level evaluations

3. Strategy for strengthening corruption management system
– Benchmarking of response measures against corruption issues, and preparation of countermeasures to response activities

Evaluation method of corruption risk

A corruption risk assessment was performed on 57 possible corruption issues and the auditing cycle was differentiated by dividing it into four areas according to the risk level of corruption issues and the need to complement the level of countermeasures.
